DVD - The Corsica Adventure - Crossing the mountain range of Corsica
Like the Corsican hiking path GR20 the tour starts near Calvi in the northwestern part of the Island. It ends in Porto Vecchio in the southeast. The DVD shows two mountain bikers crossing the Island on lonely mountain roads and hiking paths. We experience fantastic tracks through a breathtaking landscape. The rough beauty of the island is a highlight for everyone.
Corsica is a mountain range in the sea. A few kilometers after the coastline the mountains reach an altitude of over 2700 meters (8900 feet). Compared to the Alps, the trails in Corsica are less developed and the scenery is dominated by a wild vegetation.
The diversity with silent bays, endless beaches and breathtaking cliff lines on the one hand and overwhelming forests or rough mountains on the other, makes Corsica to a unique place in the Mediterranean region.
